Blog Many people would like to be able to conserve water in their garden and there are some great handy tops on how you may be able to do so;
By digging what is called a trough around new plants you can help to prevent water from escaping. This will help them to grow and stop you from having to keep watering them on a daily basis.
For larger plantations such as trees, shrubs or clematis you will have to water them with a large bucket of water each week.
Use containers to catch any rainfall when its the summer months as this will allow the water to reach the plants.
Invest in a water butt.
You may want to consider using moisture absorbing crystals or gels in order to water your garden. This allows you to put the hosepipe away which can spread a high flow of unnecessary water.
Only fill up what you need. If you are using a watering can then only put as much as you really need into it to avoid wasting water. Make sure that the tap is off after use to avoid wasting any water.

Blog Many people like to buy a property with an extra room for guests to stay in, for when the time comes to have children or for simply storing all their extra bits and bobs in. A spare room is an ideal place to hide anything that you do not want in full view and is perfect for people who like to hoard lots of items or having regular visitors to their home. Many people however make the mistake of turning all the radiators off in the spare room in order to save money on their electricity or energy bills however this can often do more harm than good to a property.
Experts often advise that a room should be kept to a temperature of around ten degrees Celsius in order to prevent mould forming on furniture. It is also advised that you may wish to leave a window open in order to improve ventilation in a spare room. You may spend more on your energy bills however it will be worth it as getting rid of condensation which often leads to mould can be pesky and often costly in the long run.

Blog Many people would like to do their best for the environment and save money where they can however items that can help you do so are often pricey to buy. Energy saving light bulbs are brilliant for saving pennies on your bills however they have always been relatively expensive compared to those that are not so energy efficient. Times are now changing as manufacturers are realising that people will not take the step to installing energy efficient light bulbs if they are too expensive which is why the price on many ranges is now cheaper.
This is really good news and makes a lot more sense. Many people with large homes could simply not afford to pop an energy efficient light bulb in every room in their house however with prices falling it is becoming more plausible. This will also be great for those on the rental market as they can save such much needed money on their energy bills and put it towards a deposit on a house or to splurge on some well deserved treats or to make some home improvements within their home. Buy from a reputable company and enjoy the benefits of doing your bit for the environment.
