It is Energy Saving week!

I realise it may not be quite as festive as Christmas or as exciting as getting a chocolate egg on Easter but from the 25th October to the 31st October it is in fact ‘Energy Saving Week!’. This holiday is designed to help companies and also consumers to reduce their carbon footprints and save money on their utility bills. Many people will be happy to know that they could save money if they follow some energy saving tips which I am sure we can all agree that at Christmas this is very handy. Loft insulation and double glazing are top of the bills of ‘to do’s’.

Double glazing is a great way to save on your bills and keep your home toasty when the winter chill takes full force, your property will also look good as new. Making sure that you close your windows on leaving your property, turning off electrical appliances and turning thermostats down by a degree are all encouraged by the event. The event is a great way to remind people of their responsibility to their property and give people the nudge they need to do something to help the environment this Christmas!
