FAQ
By suppling Veka profiles with all our glass, Northern Scotland Joinery are proud members of the Home Pro programme (run by FairTrades.co.uk). As a result, this means that your installation comes with a unique, ten year insurance backed guarantee. Your guarantee remains valid in the unfortunate event Northern Scotland Joinery was to cease trading for any reason.
Below are a number of relevant questions with answers…
Q: Is my guarantee completely safe?
A: Northern Scotland Joinery will provide every customer with a unique, insurance-backed ten year guarantee free of charge. This ensures that your guarantee lives on even if Northern Scotland Joinery ceases to trade.
Q: Are other company guarantees safe?
A: Not necessarily. By being a Home Pro member, Northern Scotland joinery is backed by an insurer that is recognised by the Department of Trade and Industry. The guarantee also covers the customer if the company ceases to trade for any reason, not just insolvency.
Q: Does the guarantee cover my deposit?
A: To ensure complete peace of mind, Northern Scotland Joinery does not ask customers for deposits.
Q: If I decide to move, can the guarantee be passed to the new owners?
A: Your guarantee can be transferred to a new homeover - a great benefit when you wish to sell! All we ask is that you let us know, in writing, within 28 days of moving to your new home.
Q: Can I trust Northern Scotland Joinery?
A: Our dedication to the Home Pro programme means we must adhere to strict standards and are vetted to ensure our company has good financial stability. Only those companies that uphold the standards are allowed to continue as members.
Q: Are the materials used for my installation trustworthy?
A: The frames Northern Scotland Joinery uses are not only made of extrusion products from Veka directly, but also manufactured by a Veka fabricator member to ensure the quality and design are second to none.
